The curriculum is delivered based on each student's needs to progress in their development and their belt rank. Each belt rank has specifically established activities and standards of performance that must be demonstrated required for the rank. The level of proficiency (or adeptness) and complexity of activities, techniques, combinations, and standards of performance increases for each belt rank. Instructors assess the progress of the students and invite only those students who are deemed ready to perform and pass at the minimum standard for the rank to test.
